Duncan’s Fight for Freedom and the Challenges After Prison

Jimmie “Chris” Duncan stands outside his temporary residence, reflecting on his life from the parking lot of a rundown motel in Louisiana. However, Duncan saw a significant turn in his case in June when the Louisiana Supreme Court dismissed his murder conviction. Chief Justice John Weimer criticized the use of bite mark analysis to convict Duncan, likening the situation to irrational witch trials of the past.
