Ring of Honor’s (ROH) Death Before Dishonor event enthralled fans at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. The iconic venue saw some of the year’s finest wrestling bouts, with title changes being hard-fought.

In a standout match, Bandido defended his Ring of Honor World Championship against Nick Wayne. Their battle featured intense, skillful performances. Wayne suffered a bloody injury when scraped against the steel steps. Both wrestlers demonstrated exceptional prowess. The match included a sequence of German suplexes, a cutter from Wayne, and Bandido executing a poisonrana. Despite Wayne’s impressive moves, Bandido surprised him with a crucifix pin for the victory.

Moving to the main event, Athena continued her historic reign as Women’s Champion against Stardom’s Hazuki. Both women are among the top in their field. Despite Hazuki’s efforts, Athena’s determination shone through. She endured a splash on the announce table and a suplex on the entrance ramp from Hazuki. Backed by Billie Starkz and Diamanté, Athena eventually executed the O-Face, securing her win and extending her title reign to 1,350 days.

Meanwhile, two ROH championships changed hands during the event. Action Andretti, with assistance from Hook and Anthony Bowens, defeated Lio Rush to claim the ROH TV Championship; his first singles title with ROH. In a Fight Without Honor match, Andretti delivered a stunning 450 splash on Rush through a table.

Earlier, The Outrunners and Dalton Castle defended the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Championship against Lethal Twist. With Jay Lethal’s aid, Blake Christian managed the pinfall, giving Lethal Twist the victory.
