Activists Seek Donation Refunds After Senate Campaign Ends

Following Graham Platner’s decision to end his Senate campaign, activists initiated a campaign to retrieve donations to prevent their use in handling legal fees associated with Platner’s alleged misconduct. Reckoning Action, the group spearheading this initiative, is collaborating with lawmakers to propose legislation prohibiting the use of campaign funds for legal expenses in cases of sexual misconduct investigations.
