A delivery driver’s unconventional approach to package handling has caught attention after being captured by a doorbell camera. Florida resident Nathan Pekas shared footage from his Ring camera showing a delivery driver from Yun Express, a third-party carrier for Amazon, throwing a package onto his concrete porch. Afterward, the driver takes a photo for proof of delivery while a dog can be heard howling from inside the house.
The box lands with a loud thud before the driver leaves without placing it at the front door. Pekas expressed surprise at the driver’s actions, humorously speculating that the summer heat in Florida was too much for the driver to make the extra steps to the door.
A photo shared by Pekas also shows damage to one corner of the box. Amazon acknowledged the incident, stating that the video does not meet their delivery standards and that they are investigating the matter.
It’s not clear if the contents of the package were damaged or whether the driver will continue to deliver for Amazon. Fox News Digital has reached out to Amazon for further comments.
This incident is one of several package delivery mishaps caught on doorbell cameras. A previous case involved a FedEx driver in Georgia who fell into a swimming pool while taking a delivery photo, laughing off the incident afterward.
