Meghan Markle’s Approval Rating Hits New Low in the UK

Meghan Markle’s net approval rating in the UK fell to minus 43 in the second quarter of 2026, according to a new poll. This marks her lowest rating yet through this measure.

YouGov Ratings revealed that from April to June, 18 percent of respondents liked the Duchess of Sussex, while 61 percent disliked her. In the first quarter, she was liked by 26 percent and disliked by 47 percent, resulting in a net approval of minus 21. This represents a 22-point drop in her net approval from quarter to quarter.

This historic low in approval comes during a challenging year for the duchess. Notably, Netflix withdrew as an equity partner in her lifestyle brand, As Ever, in March. In April, Meghan and Prince Harry visited Australia, and in May, she spoke on social media dangers in Geneva.
