Graham, who passed away on July 11 at age 71 due to an aortic dissection, was surrounded by family and friends.

Services Scheduled

The funeral service is set for Tuesday, July 28, at 2 p.m. ET at Washington National Cathedral. Attendance at the cathedral is by invitation, but the service will be available to the public via livestream on the cathedral’s website and YouTube.

Earlier that day, Graham’s remains will be brought to the U.S. Capitol by an Armed Forces Body Bearer Team. A memorial guard will honor his service in the Rotunda. The Capitol ceremony will also be livestreamed, according to a release from his office.

Tributes in South Carolina

Following the service in Washington, Graham’s remains will be taken to South Carolina for public tributes on Wednesday, July 29, starting at 10:45 a.m. ET. The procession will pause at the South Carolina State House and continue to First Baptist Church of Columbia for a public funeral service. A private family burial will conclude the events in Pickens County, where Graham grew up. Doors at First Baptist Church open at 10 a.m. ET, and the service begins at noon.
