Incident at FCI Fort Dix

Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been placed in solitary confinement following a fight at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Fort Dix, New Jersey. Reports indicate that the altercation began after another inmate allegedly insulted Diddy. The disagreement quickly escalated, leading to a physical confrontation, TMZ reported.

A source shared that both individuals engaged in shoving and exchanged punches before security intervened and separated them.

Diddy reportedly “held his own” during the brief fight, which was consequential enough to result in his solitary confinement. The exact duration of his confinement remains unknown. The FCI commented, “We are not at liberty to disclose or provide internal information pertaining to any inmate in our custody.”

Controversial Past

Diddy is currently serving a 50-month sentence after being found guilty of charges related to transportation for prostitution in July 2025. His arrest followed accusations by his ex-girlfriend, Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura, who claimed Diddy subjected her to sexual assault and prolonged physical and mental abuse. Although the matter was settled swiftly, it has led to numerous similar allegations, with over 100 civil lawsuits currently against him.

Impact on Early Release

Diddy’s expected release date is February 2028, contingent upon maintaining good behavior during incarceration. It remains uncertain whether the recent incident will affect his sentence, highlighting the complexities involved in the conditions of prisoner release.
