Investigation Underway After Body Found at Home Owned by Ayanna Pressley’s Husband

Authorities in Boston are investigating a death at a rental property owned by Conan Harris, the husband of Democratic Massachusetts Representative Ayanna Pressley. The Boston Police Department reported that officers were called to the site, located on Malta Street in the Mattapan neighborhood, on Saturday afternoon.

Upon arrival, police discovered a deceased individual whose identity has not been disclosed. The department’s homicide unit is currently leading the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death.

Property records reviewed by CBS News show Conan Harris as the owner of the two-story rental home valued at approximately $919,000. Harris has been married to Representative Pressley since 2014.

In a statement shared on Facebook, Harris expressed gratitude for the support received, assuring the public, “Thank you Everyone for the care and concern, our family is safe.” He extended his sympathies to the family mourning their loss, acknowledging the difficult time for those affected in Mattapan.

A spokesperson for Representative Pressley conveyed her condolences, emphasizing the Congresswoman’s heartfelt sympathies for the impacted family.
