Ana Navarro Discusses Hunter Biden’s Media Presence and Burisma Involvement

“The View” co-host Ana Navarro discussed Hunter Biden’s public image and controversial income from Burisma Holdings on the ABC show’s “Behind the Table” podcast. Navarro praised Biden as a “riveting” figure and criticized the focus on his earnings compared to those of the Trump family.

During her conversation with Hunter Biden, Navarro argued that the scrutiny he faced over his Burisma income was minimal compared to the alleged financial benefits gained by the Trump family. She described this situation as a “double standard” and explained the choice to have Biden on her podcast “Bleep! with Ana Navarro.”

Navarro highlighted Biden’s response on social media to accusations regarding a cocaine incident at the White House, saying, “No, I would have never forgotten my coke.” The Secret Service closed its investigation without finding a suspect, although the FBI reopened the case in 2025. Fox News Digital reached out to both the FBI and the White House, but there was no immediate response.

Navarro described the extensive interview with Biden as engaging throughout, taking place during the Argentina versus England World Cup game. The House Oversight Committee documented Burisma’s payment of $1 million annually to Biden and associate Devon Archer following their board appointments in 2014. Biden assumed the position while his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, was involved in U.S. policy on Ukraine.

In February 2024, Hunter Biden gave a deposition during the Republican-led impeachment inquiry against his father. The inquiry concluded without a House vote on articles of impeachment. Navarro also explored Biden’s art sales, noting that each sale underwent rigorous vetting, and maintained that he had pursued painting throughout his life.

“And while his father was president, he didn’t make any money. He made money off his paintings… every painting he sold had to go through vetting, and he had been painting his entire life,” Navarro said.

The White House rebutted Navarro’s comparisons, affirming the Trump family’s independent business success. White House communications director Steven Cheung remarked, “President Trump’s children are extremely successful business leaders in their own right…Hunter Biden smoked crack, banged hookers, and sold ugly paintings for hundreds of thousands of dollars. No one cares what he has to say.”

Biden’s former gallerist, Georges Bergès, confirmed that a buyer-anonymity agreement took effect in September 2021, with Biden aware of 70% of his buyers. Ten buyers purchased $1.5 million worth of his artwork, from which Biden earned $900,000, according to the Washington Post.

Meanwhile, Reuters reported that Trump and his sons potentially added over $2.3 billion to their wealth through main cryptocurrency ventures after returning to the White House. Trump stated he did not manage his personal finances.
