Family members of Dana Hyde, a former official from the Obama administration, have initiated a wrongful death lawsuit. The lawsuit stems from an incident in 2023 where a private jet lost control during flight, leading to Hyde’s fatal injuries.
On that day, Dana Hyde, her husband, and one of her sons were aboard a Bombardier Challenger 300 jet. Shortly after takeoff, the jet experienced a sudden and severe oscillation in its flight path, pitching first upward and then sharply downward.
This brief loss of control resulted in injuries that claimed Hyde’s life. The family attributes these events to the actions taken by the pilots and has chosen legal action as a response.
