Carrie Underwood has made a significant impact in country music since gaining fame in 2005. Her journey began with a win on the singing competition show, “American Idol.” This victory was a turning point in her career, catapulting her into the spotlight.

Underwood was born on March 10, 1983, to Carole and Stephen Underwood. Her debut album, “Some Hearts,” released in 2005, featured the popular song “Before He Cheats.” This marked the beginning of her successful music career.

Over the years, Carrie Underwood has released multiple albums, each contributing to her legacy in the music industry. Her discography includes important works such as “Carnival Ride,” “Play On,” “Blown Away,” “Storyteller,” “Cry Pretty,” “My Gift” (her first Christmas album), and “My Savior.” In 2022, she added “Denim & Rhinestones” to her list of successful albums.

Underwood’s achievements are reflected in the numerous awards she has received. These honors include Grammys, ACM Awards, CMT Music Awards, CMA Awards, and American Music Awards. She consistently demonstrates her talent and passion for music.

She held the role of CMA Awards host for 12 consecutive years and has performed the opening for NBC’s Sunday Night Football since 2013. In 2008, she became a member of the Grand Ole Opry. In addition, Underwood became the first artist to perform at the Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas during her “Reflection: The Las Vegas Residency.”

Beyond music, Underwood ventured into the fitness industry by founding CALIA by Carrie Underwood, her own fitness brand. She authored a fitness book, “Find Your Path: Honor Your Body, Fuel Your Soul, and Get Strong with the Fit52 Life,” and launched her fitness app, fit52, in 2020.
