Caitlin Clark delivered another outstanding performance on Thursday night, leading the Indiana Fever to an 83-71 win against the Atlanta Dream. Her performance tied a WNBA record she already held herself. With 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists, Clark became the fastest player in league history to achieve over 150 points and 50 assists in a season. The record she matched was her own from the previous year.

The thrilling game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse also helped silence rumors of a feud between Clark and Fever head coach Stephanie White. Earlier, a heated exchange between them during a loss to the Portland Fire had sparked controversy. The decision by White to bench Clark led to fan outrage and even calls for the coach’s removal.

Clark addressed the situation before the game, stating, “Personally, I’m doing great. I don’t read that stuff. I know everybody can have an opinion and people make me aware, but I’m not sitting on Twitter or social media reading those things.” The Fever took on Angel Reese and the Dream, aiming to deflect the noise from their previous loss.
