As anticipation builds for a packed lineup of films set to debut in 2026, several film studios are seizing the opportunity to showcase their upcoming projects during one of the most-watched television events, the Super Bowl. Among the highly-anticipated trailers are ‘Disclosure Day,’ ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu,’ and more, providing audiences an early glimpse into these films.
Disclosure Day
Right before the Super Bowl kick-off, audiences were treated to an exclusive first look at ‘Disclosure Day,’ the new science-fiction thriller directed by Steven Spielberg. This project, starring Emily Blunt, Colin Firth, and Colman Domingo, is eagerly anticipated and set to hit theaters on June 12. The intriguing synopsis reads, “If you found out we weren’t alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you? This summer, the truth belongs to seven billion people. We are coming close to … Disclosure Day.”

The Mandalorian and Grogu
Among the exciting teasers aired during the Super Bowl is ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu.’ This brief spot, aired during the first quarter, offers an early look at director Jon Favreau’s upcoming addition to the ‘Star Wars’ universe. The film, scheduled for release on May 22, follows Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin, portrayed by Pedro Pascal, and his young partner Grogu as they confront the Imperial Remnant. This is one of several projects produced by Disney, which owns Lucasfilm, the parent company of ABC News and ‘Good Morning America.’

Scream 7
‘Scream 7,’ which had initially released its Super Bowl spot earlier in February, features a chilling new trailer. The story unfolds as a new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott, played by Neve Campbell, tries to live a peaceful life. Her darkest fears are realized when her daughter, portrayed by Isabel May, becomes the killer’s next target. Driven to protect her family, Sidney confronts her past to put an end to the terror once and for all.

New Netflix Look Starring Brad Pitt
Netflix also joined the Super Bowl trailer showcase with an advertisement featuring Brad Pitt back in his role as Cliff Booth from ‘Once Upon A Time in Hollywood.’ In this exciting look, Pitt returns as the charming character, seen driving fast cars with his recognizable laid-back style. This teaser is tied to an upcoming project, ‘The Adventures of Cliff Booth.’ Further details from Netflix are yet to be revealed.

Project Hail Mary
The final trailer for ‘Project Hail Mary’ was released on Sunday, building anticipation for the movie’s arrival in theaters on March 20. Starring Ryan Gosling, the film is adapted from Andy Weir’s bestselling novel. It follows protagonist Ryland Grace, a middle school teacher who finds himself on a spacecraft without memory of his identity or how he arrived there. The film is directed by the Oscar-winning duo Phil Lord and Christopher Miller.
